Signs of Storm Damage Every Homeowner Should Know
Storm damage isn’t always obvious, but catching it early can save you from costly repairs and insurance headaches. If you notice any of these warning signs, call Bravo Company Roofing for a free storm damage inspection and professional guidance. Here’s what to watch for after severe weather:
Missing or Damaged Shingles
Strong winds and flying debris can rip shingles loose or leave them cracked and curled. Even small gaps expose your roof to water intrusion.
Granule Loss in Gutters
Hail often knocks granules off shingles. Check gutters or downspouts for sand-like residue—a sign your roof’s protective layer is compromised.
Water Stains or Sagging Ceilings
Brown spots, peeling paint, or drooping ceiling panels inside your home indicate roof leaks that need immediate attention.
Debris on the Roof or Ground
Tree limbs, loose flashing, or roof pieces around your property can signal impact damage. Avoid climbing up—call Bravo for a safe, professional inspection.
What Our Customers Say
Read first hand what our customers think about their roof repair with Bravo Company Roofing:
Communication at first was rocky but I was thoroughly communicated with by the owner and my project manager throughout after a bit.
They also were able to renegotiate with my insurance on my behalf to secure an entire new roof after they had only offered half which I'm grateful for.
Of note; I was able to pick an upgraded shingle type and the color to better withstand the storms in the future which was easier then I had thought would be.
It looks great and I'm happy with having gone with them.
My husband and I were especially impressed by how genuinely committed they were to helping us and ensuring the job was done right. The team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The workers who came to fix our roof were not only efficient but also left the area spotless, which we deeply appreciated.
Bravo Roofing delivered excellent service, and their attention to detail and customer care made all the difference. If you’re looking for a company that truly values its customers and takes pride in their work, look no further. We highly recommend them!
Additionally we had them install gutters all around the house. Very pleased with the results.
The most important thing I will say is the communication with them was spot on. Robbie & Brian kept me informed during the whole process, even while I was out of town.

Bravo Company Roofing Review
Jonathan from Bravo Company Roofing came to my house to see if I might need a new roof. Using his UAV, he inspected my roof looking for any type of hail or wind damage. After the inspection, he showed me pictures of damage to my roof. The next step was to have my insurance inspector to come out and determine if the damage suggested a replacement was needed. Jonathan kept me updated via phone on all activity and dates to meet my schedule.
My insurance inspector came out with Jonathan and did determine my roof had enough damage that it needed replacement. Jonathan went through all the steps that would follow to replace my roof. The most important was understanding the contract. Jonathan went over all the details and explain fully so both my wife and I understood the process.
On a date of my choosing, we set up a time to schedule the roof replacement. Jonathan went over what I needed to do before the installation crew came out so no damage would occur to my screens or items in the yard. Jonathan was very patient with us as we picked out a color of shingle we wanted on the roof. I made a few upgrades that I paid extra for to have a roof that will last longer.
Due to the weather, we had to postpone our installation only one day. The crew showed up about 7am and started to work. The meticulously put down plastic tarps to catch the debris as they removed the old shingles and underlaying.
After completing the new roof, they went around and cleaned up the area of nails and debris. I was told they may not get everything, so be sure to make my own inspection. I inspected the yard back and front for three days finding bits and pieces that escaped the cleanup. All in all the crew did a fantastic job! I was very pleased to sign over the last check for the job completion. My roof is awesome and makes my house stand out even more now. I can not thank Jonathan enough for his detailed explanation of the whole process and his excellent communication from start to finish.
If you ever need a new roof, I highly recommend Bravo Company Roofing! Not only will you be pleased with the excellent work they do for your replacement roof, but also the professionalism of how they manage their company and quality of service they provide the customer!
Sincerely,
Steven and Frances Daigle

Frequently Asked Questions: Storm Damage Roof Repair in Acworth & Marietta, GA
What should I do immediately after a storm damages my roof?
First, document the damage with photos from the ground — do not attempt to climb onto the roof. Call Bravo Company Roofing for an emergency inspection and, if needed, emergency tarping to prevent further water intrusion. Then contact your homeowner’s insurance company to start the claims process. We can assist with the insurance adjuster visit.
Does my insurance cover storm damage roof repair?
Most standard homeowner’s insurance policies cover roof damage caused by wind, hail, and other sudden storms. The key is filing your claim promptly and having the damage documented by a professional roofing contractor. Bravo Company Roofing has extensive experience working with insurance companies in Georgia and can help ensure your claim is properly supported.
How do I know if my roof has hail damage?
Hail damage can be subtle and isn’t always visible from the ground. Signs include dents or bruising on shingles, granule loss (which looks like bare spots), damage to gutters and downspouts, and dings on AC units or vents. Our drone-assisted inspections are particularly effective at identifying and documenting hail damage for insurance purposes.
How long do I have to file a storm damage claim in Georgia?
Georgia insurance policies vary, but most require you to file a claim within one year of the storm event. We recommend acting quickly — waiting can result in claim denial and allows damage to worsen. Contact Bravo Company Roofing as soon as possible after a storm for documentation and support.
Can you help me work with my insurance adjuster?
Yes. Bravo Company Roofing will meet with your insurance adjuster on-site to ensure all damage is properly documented. We have extensive experience navigating insurance claims for Acworth and Marietta homeowners and will advocate on your behalf to help you receive the coverage you’re entitled to.

Frequently Asked Questions: Storm Damage Roof Repair in Acworth & Marietta, GA
How do I know if my roof has storm damage?
Common signs of storm damage include missing, cracked, or curling shingles, dented gutters or flashing, granules accumulating in your downspouts, and visible water stains on interior ceilings. Because some damage is only visible from the roof itself, Bravo Company Roofing uses drones to conduct a thorough aerial inspection after any significant storm.
Will my insurance cover storm damage to my roof?
Most standard homeowner's insurance policies cover sudden storm damage from hail, wind, or falling debris. However, they typically do not cover damage caused by lack of maintenance or normal wear. Bravo Company Roofing works directly with insurance adjusters and can provide detailed documentation of storm damage to support your claim.
How soon after a storm should I get my roof inspected?
You should schedule a roof inspection as soon as it is safe to do so after a storm, ideally within a few days. Many insurance policies have time limits for filing storm damage claims, and delays can result in denied claims. Early documentation also helps prevent additional damage from subsequent rain or weather.
Do I need a full roof replacement after a storm, or just repairs?
It depends on the extent of the damage. Localized damage from a falling branch or a few blown-off shingles may only require repairs. Widespread hail damage or structural damage to the decking often necessitates a full replacement. Our drone inspection gives you an accurate picture of the full scope so you can make an informed decision.
How long does storm damage repair take?
Minor storm repairs typically take one day. Full roof replacements due to storm damage usually take one to two days depending on the size and complexity of your roof. We work efficiently to restore protection to your home as quickly as possible, and we coordinate directly with your insurance company to keep the process moving.
