Full Replacement or Major Repairs
No Cost to the Recipient
Do you know a local veteran or surviving spouse who needs a new roof?
We’re a veteran-owned roofing company, and this Memorial Day we’re covering the full cost of a roof replacement — or significant repairs — for one deserving neighbor in Cobb County or a nearby community. Tell us about them.
How the Program Works
Three straightforward pieces — who qualifies, what we’re covering, and how you nominate.
Who qualifies
- Veterans of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces — active, reserve, or retired
- Widows and widowers of veterans
- Must own and live in the home
- Home must be in Cobb County or a nearby community we serve
What we’re covering
- A full architectural asphalt shingle roof replacement, or
- A combination of significant repairs — whichever best fits the home
- Labor and materials covered in full
- Depending on scope, we may help more than one family
How to nominate
- Anyone can nominate — friends, family, churches, VFW posts, first responders
- Self-nominations welcome
- Call or email us — details below
- Nominations close Friday, May 15, 2026
A personal note from the owner
“When we opened our second office in Marietta, we wanted to do more than hang a sign. I started Bravo Company Roofing because I believe a roof isn’t just shingles — it’s the thing that keeps a family dry, safe, and settled. A lot of the folks living under those roofs gave years of their lives so the rest of us could sleep well under ours. If you know a veteran, or the widow or widower of one, who’s struggling with an aging or damaged roof, please take two minutes and tell us about them. We’ll take it from there.”
Why This Program Matters to Us
Three generations of the McClure family have served. This one is personal.
“Three generations of my family have worn the uniform. My grandfather, W.D. McClure, served in the U.S. Army. My father, Mark McClure, served in the U.S. Air Force. I served in the U.S. Army and then the U.S. Navy. We know what it means to come home from service — and we know too many veterans, and their families, who come home to homes they’re struggling to keep up. Giving one local family a safe, dry roof this Memorial Day is our way of saying thank you.”

Frequently asked questions
Is this really free? What’s the catch?
No catch. Bravo Company Roofing is donating the materials and labor for the selected recipient. We ask that the recipient allow us to share their story publicly (with photos) so other homeowners know the program is real — but that’s optional and we’ll always ask permission first.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes. Self-nominations are welcome and we don’t treat them any differently. If you’re the veteran or surviving spouse, you know your own story best.
What if the nominee’s home is just outside Cobb County?
Submit the nomination anyway. We serve Acworth, Marietta, Kennesaw, Cartersville, Woodstock, Dallas, Roswell, and Alpharetta. If it’s close to our service area, we’ll take a look.
What happens after I submit?
We’ll confirm your nomination within 1–2 business days. Between May 16 and May 24 we’ll contact finalists to verify details and, where possible, schedule a free drone roof inspection. The recipient is announced on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026.
Do I need to prove the nominee is a veteran?
Not when you submit. We verify service and ownership one-on-one with the finalists before any work begins, so nothing sensitive is submitted online.
What if the nominee needs more than a roof?
We only do roofs — it’s what we’re good at. But if we hear about a family who needs broader help, we’ll do our best to connect them with partner organizations in the area.
